Welcome to Proto—a collective charged with the creation of extraordinary footwear. 

Founded in 2020 by a group of specialists, each with deep roots in footwear design and production, brand building and community, Proto was made by people who deeply care about finding a new way—a better way—of being. 

We respect the history of our industry and those who created the space we get to play in. And we look forward to the innovators who will continue to show us new ways. 

We know we don't have it all figured out yet. But we promise to always create a space for exploration and experimentation.
